I am interested in documentary stories

that connect us as participants, audience, and filmmaker, and a process that is positive and illuminating for everyone involved.

I bring the precision of my musical training

to my work as an editor.  My background in theater, documentary film, and my practice as an interdisciplinary artist inform my ability to find the story and shape within any materials.

I teach filmmaking for student and community discovery, and to foster collaborative storytelling.

In my short films and mixed-media work,

I listen for relationships and mystery

in the small and ordinary parts of life.

I hold degrees in Moving Image Arts, Education & Social Work, and Interdisciplinary Art.

I have taught filmmaking in multiple settings to a diverse range of learners for over 15 years.

I have experience in gallery and site-specific art curation and installation, and in non-profit administration.
